The Interview has topped Guardians of the Galaxy as the highest-selling film on Google Play and YouTube Movies.
According to Variety, Seth Rogen and James Franco's controversial comedy has edged out the lingering competition of Guardians and The Maze Runner on the Google streaming sites, after launching on Christmas Day. Specific sales numbers have not been disclosed.
Netflix is apparently in talks with Sony to also stream the Interview, while there is no word yet on sites like Apple and Amazon.
