While the major networks may have not displayed the butchery we've grown accustomed to when it came to this year's underperforming new fall shows (perhaps they've learned to give them some time to grow an audience?), 2014 still saw its fair share of major TV series coming to an end, either by cancellation or via a planned ending.

So which show are you going to miss above all the others? Long-time players like Psych, True Blood, How I Met Your Mother, and Sons of Anarchy all wrapped up their sagas while late night TV entered a transitional period with the loss of both The Colbert Report and Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson.
