During the 2015 Game Developer's Conference, designer Warren Robinett will be taking part in a postmortem about his Atari 2600 classic Adventure.
Credited as one of the first-ever action games in history, Adventure was particularly notable for its unique design, and hosts one of the earliest examples of an easter egg by way of Robinett's name being mentioned in a hidden area of the game. At a time when Atari was not willing to credit game makers, this easter egg was been cited as an important step in helping creators gain recognition for their work.
During the postmortem, Robinett will speak about the process of creating the game, the challenges inherent in development, and his approach for designing unique AI.
