Evolve: Hunters Quest, the official companion app for 4-v1 shooter Evolve, launches tonight for free on select iOS, Windows, Android and Amazon Fire devices.
Developed by 2K studio Cat Daddy Games, Evolve: Hunters Quest is a match-3 puzzle combat game that offers more than 100 missions set in the Evolve universe. The game puts players on the in-game planet of Shear with a team of Hunters to scour for new wildlife and Monsters. Gameplay involves users matching three tokens of the same color to trigger attacks on their enemies, and to “fill up energy bars to activate Hunters’ special abilities.”
Players who purchase Evolve on PC or console can apply Mastery Points earned in the companion app to characters in the Evolve game on any platform to level them up. Users can also unlock game art and watch replays of their online multiplayer matches in a top-down perspective.
