Parks and Recreation: "Gryzzlbox" Review IGN All

Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow...


This is a review of the first Parks and Rec episode of the night, "Gryzzlbox." The review for the second episode, "Save JJ's," will be up at a later time.


Another solid episode of Parks, keeping the final season momentum going strong after last week's superb "Leslie and Ron."


The ending, featuring Ron holding the carcass of a destroyed Skypal drone and deciding it was time to side with Leslie was a very fun, crowd-pleasing moment. You'd think he would have been an enemy of data-mining to begin with but it was also very Ron of him to blame people for using the internet and having smart phones in the first place. So the ending, when a Gryzzl package for his four-year-old son was dropped on his doorstep, was pretty damn perfect. Because this was a man who doesn't even keep pictures of his son around so that he can protect the boy's privacy. And who uses a fake name for his Mulligan's steakhouse club card. "Les. Les Vegetables. *giggle*"
