Tina Fey on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt's Netflix Move IGN All

30 Rock creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock were on hand at the Television Critics Association press tour today to answer questions about their upcoming Netflix comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which stars The Office's Ellie Kemper as a young woman, Kimmy, who decides to start her life over in New York City after spending fifteen years underground in a doomsday cult bunker.


One of the most notable things about the series is that it was made by NBC and was originally intended to be a part of their 2015 midseason schedule. Now, on Netflix (launching Friday, March 6th), it's already been renewed for a Season 2. "It will be interesting to see, going to Season 2, where we have the option of curse words, whether we take that option or not. I don't know if we will," Fey explained, acknowledging the difference between making the first season for NBC and the second for Netflix.
