With DC's Convergence event hitting next month, all of their books are reaching a conclusion of sorts. This week saw the series finale to Swamp Thing and Earth 2, while Green Lantern, Detective Comics, and a few others reached a climax and will be going on hiatus for two months until after Convergence ends.
Over at Marvel, Avengers took one big step closer to Secret Wars while Jeff Lemire and Ramon Perez relaunched Hawkeye with All-New Hawkeye. Yes, Matt Fraction and David Aja's run hasn't released its final issue yet -- Aja needs time to finish the oversized finale. Given on great their run was, we're know it'll be worth the wait.
On the indie side of things, we got the return of Black Science, another issue of Saga, and the debuts of Big Man Plans and Descender -- the latter being Lemire's other big book this week, which has already been opted by Sony for a movie. Check out our review to see what all the hype is about.
