The Trickster is back! The maniacal neon unitard-wearing character, played by none other than Mark Hamill, appeared in the 1990 TV version of The Flash, and Hamill's returned to the role for the current version of the series on the CW. He'll appear in Tuesday's episode, appropriately titled "Trickster." Hamill's James Jesse is in Iron Heights, and Barry and Joe turn to him for assistance when a copycat villain also calling himself the Trickster (Devon Graye) threatens Central City. IGN was among a group of reporters who spoke with Hamill and executive producer Andrew Kreisberg about the return of the Trickster.
Hamill has been watching this version of The Flash since the start. He said, "My daughter Chelsea is a big fan, and I watched it from the very first episode. In fact, I even thought, since they were doing Mirror Master and Weather Wizard and various other Rogues’ Gallery characters, I wonder if they’re going to do the Trickster. And then I got a call from my business people saying, 'They want you to do something on The Flash.' And I was thinking
