Every Mortal Kombat X DLC patch will include a free fighter costume.
The news comes from MK creator Ed Boon, who tweeted the following:

MKX Patch 1.02 improves online stability, adds a new move for Takeda, and includes general balancing tweaks. We already knew that it included a Sub-Zero skin as well, but now we finally know what it looks like.
