During today’s Nintendo Direct, President Satoru Iwata announced details for Mewtwo, the first downloadable character for Smash Bros Wii U, 3DS.
Anyone who registered both copies of Smash Wii U, 3DS before the March 31 deadline will receive a download code on April 15. Everyone else will be able to purchase Mewtwo for $3.99 on one system of choice, or snag the character on Wii U, 3DS systems for $4.99 beginning April 28.
A few weeks ago, series creator Masahiro Sakurai revealed the first character DLC for Smash Bros. was “pretty much done.” Make sure to check out IGN’s Smash wiki to keep up with all of the updates coming to the Wii U, 3DS versions of the game.
