Comedy legend and iconic television personality Lucille Ball has been the subject of a controversy in her hometown of Celoron, NY. A statue erected in her honor has drawn criticism from fans and residents alike for bearing little to no resemblance to the late actress.
The artist responsible for the work has agreed to fix the statue for free, stating in a letter he never intended "to disparage in any way the memories of the iconic Lucy image."
