Earlier this month, Microsoft launched its stereo headset adapter for the Xbox One, which acts as the primary connection method for all of the new officially licensed headsets and offers backwards compatibility to last-generation audio products. However, a growing number of users have taken to headset manufacturer and Xbox forums to complain of low or distorted audio during chat with other players. Microsoft told Game Informer that it is aware of the issues some users are experiencing and is "actively" investigating a solution. IGN has reached out to Microsoft for more insight into the problem.
