Note: We're not going to be doing weekly review of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland any longer, but we're checking in on the show as it returns from a long midseason break.

Wonderland is back, and it comes with action, drama, and surprises. Not a bad return at all! The series has stumbled along the way, but they've told some interesting stories. And now that Cyrus is out of the bottle and the Knave is in it, there's potential for much more.
At first, the Knave and Lizard's back and forth was annoying. Her crush on him, him being unaware of her feelings – that's all been done to death. Boring. I was saddened to see the Lizard wanting to change who she is for love, that was disappointing. But, her accidentally wishing herself to her death? Did not see that extreme coming. Big twists might be Wonderland's specialty, and they pulled this one off with perfection. We'd gotten to know her just enough for it to hurt.
