This new Star Wars story arc faced an uphill battle from the beginning. It revolves largely around Princess Leia's efforts to woo a new ally for the Rebel Alliance. A new home base and vast resources can be theirs, as long as Leia is willing to wed the planet's prince. If that plot sounds familiar, it's because it was basically the premise of the 1994 novel The Courtship of Princess Leia. And while there are signs that this arc will eventually go in its own direction, that familiarity is one of several elements that seriously works against issue #15.
