With 300: Rise of an Empire hitting theaters this week, we wanted to highlight the artistic work of Frank Miller by featuring our favorite 30 comic book covers drawn by him. Why 30? We didn't think you'd want to click through 300 images, no matter how cool they looked.
Miller is the writer and artist of the comic book 300, which was adapted to a movie by Zack Snyder. He is also a writer on the 300: Rise of an Empire movie sequel. There is a planned 300: Rise of an Empire comic book, but delays have put its release date in question.
Miller is a legend as far as comic books go. He has worked on numerous heroes, from Spider-Man to Batman to Daredevil, and has created many successful properties, including Sin City, Ronin and, yup, 300.
