X-Men Legacy #300 serves as a finale for a series that has existed, in some form or another, since 1991's X-Men #1. But this oversized issue pays homage specifically to the six-year period the series carried the "Legacy" subtitle. All three major writers who contributed to that era - Mike Carey, Christos Gage, and Simon Spurrier - are back to weave one final tale. The result is a somber, heartfelt comic that celebrates the legacy of the X-Men and the more humble characters that co-exist with the likes of Cyclops and Wolverine.
