Warning: Full spoilers from the episode to follow.
In this week's "Nannies," Marshall and Lily were dealing with their next parental hurdle this season as they launched a full-on search for Marvin's nanny. This was really the central storyline this week, and it was admittedly a little better than the season premiere's Marshall/Lily arc. But again, the problem with this story is it's something we've seen in countless other shows, particularly Lily's hesitance to leave her child in the hands of a "stranger." And it's gags like screaming at the fourth wall that really clue you into the fact that these guys are now just caricatures of their former selves. (Also, slightly off-topic here, but did anyone else think it was weird that Lily and Marshall brought Marvin into MacLaren's Pub? That can't be legal, right?)
