The first quarter final was a hell of a show. iG coming in hot from the group stages versus one of the two Kings of Europe; the winner gets to count themselves among the top four world-wide.

iG started off with a laneswap, sending Leona and Ezreal top. To add insult to injury, Shen made toplane his first stop and Xin went down for first blood. Cass proved just how good a counterpick to Eve she is and wrecked her 1v1 for the second kill. iG appeared to be gathering steam. M5 took the first Dragon and despite being bullied by Cass, Eve managed not to fall too far behind on farm. Xin was having a harder time in toplane, having only half Ezreal's farm.
