Nikita: "Innocence" Review IGN All

Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow.


"Innocence" (directed by WarGames helmer John Badham) continued Season 3's strong start, giving Nikita and Alex an opportunity to slay a few of their past demons by helping a troubled young girl. So far I'm enjoying the villains-of-the-week, as they've given us a slightly deeper look at the personalities of Division's other agents. They've been largely red shirts since we lost Thom and Jaden in Season 1. I loved Wade's backstory: He lost his training gig at Division when he beat a recruit to death for failing his mission. So he kidnaps a kid (played beautifully by Annalise Basso) so as to wash her young, malleable brain and train her to complete the assassination years later. It's just so awesomely nutso, and it was a nice bit to have Michael and Birkhoff reminisce about him like he was a particularly masochistic P.E. teacher they once had.
