Deadline is reporting that Syfy has set a premiere date for the already-filmed reality competition series, Robot Combat League - Tuesday, February 26th at 10pm.
Hosted by former World Heavyweight Champion, WWE Superstar Chris Jericho, RCL features tournament-style battles between 8-foot humanoid robots, inspired by the Hugh Jackman film, Real Steel. There will be 12 teams consisting of a unique robot, a fighter controlling them with a suit that translates their movements to the machines, and a robotics engineer.
