Last month it was reported that Brandon T. Jackson (Tropic Thunder, Percy Jackson) was in negotiations to play the lead in CBS’ planned reboot of the 1984 Eddie Murphy comedy Beverly Hills Cop.
Deadline confirms that Jackson has indeed signed on to play Aaron Foley, son to Murphy’s Axel Foley, in what is being designed as a sequel to the film trilogy.
