Fringe: "Five-Twenty-Ten" Review IGN All

Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow.


We're at a critical turning point in this season where things had to move forward quickly to setup the final sprint to the end of Fringe lore. After this week, we've got 6 installments left and a little over 4 hours of actual story when you subtract commercials. This episode really needed to get things moving, and boy did it deliver.


The opening is a nicely done sequence that shows off the more subtle ways that Peter's new implant is affecting his perception. In this case, his Observer-like precognition comes into play. Josh Jackson portrays it all pretty well, and his performance includes the characteristic aloofness and head gestures we've come to associate with the Observers. Even his vocal patterns change a bit.
