Marvel Studios is reportedly looking at a crop of young actors for the male lead in Guardians of the Galaxy.
According to both Deadline and Variety's Jeff Sneider, Marvel has holding deals in place to screen test five actors for the role of Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord. They are Joel Edgerton (Zero Dark Thirty, Uncle Owen Lars in the Star Wars prequels), Jack Huston (Richard Harrow on Boardwalk Empire), Jim Sturgess (Cloud Atlas, 21), Lee Pace (The Hobbit, Pushing Daisies), and Eddie Redmayne (The Pillars of the Earth, Les Miserables).
