IPL Looks at Top Players for IPL5 IGN All

IGN ProLeague Season 5 is just around the corner and we're more ready than ever to get on with the show as we head into the winter months in the biggest year in e-sports history thus far. Taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, IPL5 will seek to set the new standard and raise the bar for e-sports events around the world with top quality production and streaming capabilities. Enough with the nonsense, let's hop into what I would consider the top five picks for the tournament (in no particular order).


Lee "MarineKing" Jung Hoon is one of the most respected Terran players in the world. After receiving a bit of flack from the community after mimicking BoxeR's ID way back in 2010 when the game had just been born, Lee shrugged off the ordeal as comical and went on to prove his skill as a true player; during one of the first GSL tournaments ever hosted in the latter half of 2010, he overcame his Zerg opponents' banelings with just marines, proving that he was easily in the top tier of micromanagement-based players within the scene very early on. After defeating NaDa in 2011's January GSL, he became more revered as a force to be reckoned with, gaining more steam later that month by reverse all-killing oGs and coming out victorious under PRIME's tags against the now former SlayerS clan.
