Director Shane Carruth hasn't made a film since Primer, his storage-unit time-travel tale (don't ask me to explain; it's easier if you just watch it yourself), wowed genre fans back in 2004. But it was revealed today that Carruth's finally ready to show off his next feature, Upstream Color, at Sundance in January.
Here's the puzzling synopsis of the film from the Sundance site:
"A man and woman are drawn together, entangled in the life cycle of an ageless organism. Identity becomes an illusion as they struggle to assemble the loose fragments of wrecked lives."
