Poor Steve Rogers. His new, sadistic creative team is really beating him to a pulp. By the end of this issue, he's barely recognizable as a human being. Battered, bloody, and broken, Cap has been through the wringer and this issue hits harder than any of the previous ones. The ending is so brutal and sad, you'd swear that Rick Remender and John Romita Jr. were just trying to get you to give up on life. You win fellas; there is no hope, no love, and no future. We give up.
