Minecraft has sold 7 million on Xbox Live Arcade, according to developers Mojang and 4J Studios. This is a jump in 1 million sales since March on Xbox alone. Recently, Minecraft on PC surpassed 11 million sales, following the announcement of an Xbox One version of the massively successful sim. Minecraft remains near the top of XBLA's best-sellers, sitting in second place behind the recent hit State of Decay.
In addition, Minecraft on Xbox 360 released at retail in the United Kingdom, France, and Spain today, and tickets for Minecon 2013 -- which runs November 2-3 -- will go on sale in July. This year Minecon takes to Orlando, FL, with a venue to be announced.
