Sometimes, comic books come with story titles that are more ambiguous than revealing, but Batwing #24's -- "I Can't Catch a Break" -- is wildly appropriate. The issue, written by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, shows Luke Fox going through a relatively average day in the life of a costumed Gotham vigilante. Which is to say, it's fairly disastrous, both personally and professionally.
The first page shows Batwing in free fall, seconds after being thrown from a roof by Lady Vic with a less than cooperative Batsuit complicating his last minute save. But Luke has evidently taken a page out of Nightwing's book... so long as you can internally (and sometimes externally) quip your way through a sticky situation, you'll be fine. And he is. Until he gets home and has to deal with something far scarier than a scantily clad British assassin: a complicated ex-girlfriend situation and a very irate family.
