Pictures have leaked of a Luigi-themed 2DS, suggesting Nintendo plans to follow a similar route in releasing different models of the handheld.
Kotaku was sent pictures of the device by a reader, revealing a white and green colour scheme with Luigi's figure carved into the back.
Seeing as this is the Year of Luigi and the world's second most popular plumber has already received a 3DS XL bearing his image, it's certainly possible that this could be real. We've reached out to Nintendo for comment and, as usual, will update the story as soon as we hear more.
