Even this late into the game, there are Marvel titles that are just now entering into Infinity tie-in mode. Secret Avengers is, if nothing else, a logical choice to tie into Infinity. This is the de facto S.H.I.E.L.D. series at the moment, and one would assume S.H.I.E.L.D. has a vested interest in fending off Thanos' invasion. That's pretty much the impetus with this short arc, and without regular writer Nick Spencer or any deeper sense of connection to the series' ongoing threads, the story quickly becomes forgettable.
