History have revealed that Vikings will return with 10 all-new episodes on Thursday, February 27 at 10 PM ET/PT.
Season 2 will see Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) adjusting to his new title as Earl and his alliance with King Horrik (Donal Logue). Ragnar's new power and ever-growing wanderlust come with consequences as loyalties are tested, plots are hatched and his home life is threatened.
Alexander Ludwig (The Hunger Games) and Linus Roache (Law & Order) join the cast as Ragnar's warrior son Bjorn and King Ecbert of Wessex, respectively.
Vikings season 1 was the No. 1 new cable show of the year, averaging 4.3 million total viewers.
