The Assassin's Creed film, which is set for release in summer 2015, will reportedly begin shooting August, 2014, according to a Ubisoft producer's LinkIn profile.
According to executive producer Fannie Pailloux's page, the film has a scheduled "output summer 2015," as Google Translator reads, and filming will begin roughly a year before: this August.
Daniel Espinosa, director of Safe House and the upcoming thriller Child 44, is reportedly 20th Century Fox's prime candidate to direct the Assassin's Creed film, although the role has yet to be confirmer. Michael Fassbender has already been confirmed as a producer and lead role, with Ubisoft saying he is an extremely smart, talented, versatile and committed actor.
