Graphic Novel Review: Fariest in All the Land IGN All

Fairest in All the Land, written by Bill Willingham, sees the Fables scribe joined by a talent pool of artists that is as expansive as it is diverse. The standalone graphic novel has been met with acclaim since its release in November, and with good reason. Fairest in All the Land is, above all things, an ambitious feat in terms of its construction, though as with any endeavor that aims for extremes (and employing over twenty illustrators and colorists is indeed extreme), the finished product is not without its pitfalls. The main storyline is simple: an unknown assailant is determined to slay the fairest in all the land, and Cinderella has to stop the murders before it's too late.
