The ongoing tug-of-war between Apple and Samsung for smartphone market dominance rages on. According to a report from Bloomberg, the next iteration of Samsung's flagship handset will arrive by April. A redesign of the Galaxy Gear smartwatch will also launch around the same time frame.
Lee Young Hee, executive vice president of Samsung's mobile division, said the Galaxy S5 could arrive as early as March. The follow-up to the Gear smartwatch will apparently feature "more advanced functions" and a sleeker design. Back in November, it was alleged Samsung had only sold 50,000 units of its first Gear smartwatch.
