Here Are The Top-Selling Games in Japan for Past Year IGN PS3

Well-known gaming magazine Famitsu detailed the top-selling games in Japan for the past year, with Pokemon X and Pokemon Y topping the charts.

Chronicling sales from April 1, 2013, to April 3, 2014, Famitsu revealed the top ten games in terms of sales for Japan. The Nintendo 3DS dominated the chart with seven titles, but a surprising game for PlayStation 3 did find its way onto the list. Here they are:

1. Pokemon X and Pokemon Y (3DS) — 4.33 million copies


2. Monster Hunter 4 (3DS) — 3.43 million copies


3. Tomodachi Collection (3DS) — 1.64 million copies
