Uncanny Avengers Annual #1 Review IGN All

Rick Remender has been telling one, singular, very focused story with Uncanny Avengers for the past year-and-a-half. A story that itself builds heavily from two years of work on Uncanny X-Force before it. And it's been a very rewarding read throughout, but one downside to this approach is that we haven't seen the Uncanny Avengers roster and team dynamic explored to their full potential. Heck, half the team are currently dead as Remender works his way through the current "Avenge the Earth" story arc. The appeal with Uncanny Avengers Annual #1 is that it allows Remender to step back for a brief moment and explore a more normal day in the life of the Avengers Unity Squad. "Normal" being a very relative term in this case.
