Steelseries and EA have announced a Sims 4 range of computer peripherals, including a headset, a mouse, and a mousepad.
The two companies say that this is not merely a themed range - they claim that the peripherals will immerse players even deeper in the Sims 4, as the headset and mouse both feature an illuminated plumbob that lights up, changes colour, and pulsates according to the "level of emotion" that their Sim is experiencing.
"The Sims franchise has some of the best fans in the world and we wanted to enhance their experience to allow them to immerse themselves even further into the game," says Rachel Franklin, VP of The Sims Studio. "The Sims 4 is centered around our new Sims and their emotions and we believe that players will feel even more connected with the game as their peripherals reflect the mood of their Sims."
