WildStar is receiving its first content drop, The Strain, on July 1.
Carbine has confirmed the update, which we first heard about a couple of weeks ago, will be rolled out today, bringing with it new level 50 zones, story content, loot and more.
Our review of Wildstar gave the MMO an 8.7 out of 10, after we found it is very much a child of the modern MMORPG in foundation and mechanics. Yet it builds upon its many clear influences, improving on the original formula in all but a few areas, and is at its best when guided by its fantastic personality and creative freedom.
