Lionsgate Entertainment and Twilight author Stephenie Meyer have announced plans to select five aspiring female directors to make short films based on Twilight characters.
The short film series, called The Storytellers - New Creative Voices of the Twilight Saga, will be shown exclusively on Facebook next year.

An all-female group of panellists will select the winning films and mentor participants. The mentors include Stephenie Meyer; Twilight leading lady Kristen Stewart; actress Kate Winslet; Catherine Hardwicke, director of the first Twilight film; and Jennifer Lee, co-director of Frozen.
