Evolve’s “Big Alpha” is now available on PlayStation 4 after issues that arose following the PS4’s 2.0 firmware update forced 2K to postpone its launch.
“After exploring all available solutions, we believe we have addressed the majority of known issues affecting the Evolve Big Alpha on PlayStation 4 following the PS4 2.0 firmware update,” explains a 2K statement provided to IGN. “The alpha test is now live on PS4 after a gradual roll out to registered participants.”
Evolve’s closed alpha test is also being extended on Xbox One, PC and PS4 through until Tuesday, November 4 at 12 noon PT (3 PM ET, 8 PM GMT and Wednesday, November 5 at 7 AM AEDT).
2K’s statement goes on to remind alpha players they may come across problems as work on Evolve is not complete.
