Birthright #3 Review IGN All

STK658570 Joshua Williamson and Andrei Bressan continue their magic juggling act, detailing their two different narratives in increasingly cohesive ways. It’s a delicate balance, and while certain reveals still feel a tad too convenient, each passing issue serves to further immerse us in the creators’ increasingly mesmerizing world.


The initial premise of the series was to detail what happens after the adventure is over, but its clear Williamson is loving the fact that he gets to tell both. His balance in issue #3 hearkens back to the debut, as no sequence feels rushed or forced in returning to the other. We get some good advancement to both storylines, including the introduction of some new allies and adversaries, and while I still feel we know a bit too much for seeing so relatively little, the knowledge still proves engaging throughout.
