Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet is currently in talks to star in Universal's Steve Jobs biopic, Jobs.
Last month, Sony dropped the high-profile picture, but Universal scooped it up and is moving forward with it. If cast, Winslet would join Michael Fassbender and Seth Rogen, who are already signed on to play Jobs and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, respectively.
It is also rumored that Jeff Daniels could take on the role of former Apple President John Scully, though no offer has been made.
The film, based on Walter Isaacson's biography, will be directed by Danny Boyle from a script penned by Aaron Sorkin. Jobs will be comprised of three long scenes, with Jobs' daughter, Lisa, expected to be a character in the movie.
