The bi-annual gaming marathon Games Done Quick just concluded its winter event after raising an incredible 1.55 million dollars for charity.
If you aren't plugged into the scene, AGDQ brings together a group of volunteers to play and livestream a variety of video games - everything from Ninja Gaiden to Portal 2, all in the name of charity. This year's beneficiary was the very deserving Prevent Cancer Foundation. Viewers can donate at any time for any reason, with specific speed runners completing optional, usually ultra-challenging objectives as extra donation incentives.
