Avegant has shared the consumer design of the Glyph; a set of headphones with built in VR.
Speaking with Re/code ahead of the Glyph’s unveiling at CES 2015, Avegant CTO Allan Evans explains the importance of headphones – even with on-board VR – needing to be “cool.”
“If it’s headphones, it has to be cool. To be cool, it can’t look like I’m wearing a pope hat,” says Evans.
In interviews prior, Evans has spoken out about people watching movies on phones or tablets - an experience Avegant is hoping to improve with the Glyph.
