Banshee: Season Premiere Review IGN All

Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow...


Banshee roared back into our lives tonight with its Season 3 premiere, "The Fire Trials" - a great set up for what looks to be an exciting season ahead. With seeds planted for a future heist at a sketchy military base, Deva possibly apprenticing in the art of thievery, a brand new Brock (who might collapse under his own guilt), and an oncoming war between the hulking Chayton Littlestone and - well - everybody.


Unlike last year's premiere, which brought in an interloper to dominate the proceedings (Zeljko Ivanek's Agent Racine), "The Fire Trials" felt like a fresh start. With the world now totally Rabbit-free, and Carrie's secret out (for better or worse), the series feels likes it's truly being shared among all the players equally. In fact, the topic of why Hood's still sticking around and playing sheriff is actively addressed since both what he came to town for is out of reach and the person he was running from is no longer chasing.
