At the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour today, AMC revealed that the show that put them on the map in terms of scripted series, Mad Men, will return Sunday, April 5th for its final run of episodes. Technically the second half of Season 7, there are seven episodes left to air.
In the press release for the debut date, series creator Matthew Weiner said, "What an incredible journey this has been. I take great pride in what the entire Mad Men team was able to create episode after episode, season after season. We sincerely thank the fans for joining us on this ride and hoe it meant as much to them as it has to us."
Weiner and many of the Man Men cast, including Jon Hamm, are attending TCA. Look for more on what they had to say on the show coming to an end later on today.
