Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow...
I enjoyed the ending of "Welcome Back, Jim Gordon," when the crooked cop came up and begged ol' Jimbo to spare his family - treating him like an underworld menace. It really helped sell the "deal with the devil" that Gordon made with Penguin, which seemed harmless enough at the time but wound up turning out rotten. I'm not sure how it'll all play out from here though. Will Gordon now carry around a reputation (like he did when everyone thought he killed Penguin?) or was the ending a sort of one-and-done deal that was only meant to scare him back to the straight-and-narrow path?
