Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow...
Both Dr. Leslie Thompkins and the iconic (interior of) Arkham Asylum made their debuts this week on Gotham's midseason premiere, "Rogues' Gallery." And while actress Morena Baccarin was fun to watch as Leslie, and it was cool to see Christopher Heyerdahl's (Hell on Wheels) Jack Gruber actually escape to shock another day, the series has become more crowded and cluttered than ever.
I like that the season's been split with regards to Gordon's partnership. He went from teaming with Bullock to now fighting alongside Dr. Leslie. And changing the main setting to Arkham helps things looks and feel different. But Bullock's not gone. And neither is the precinct. And so the show just keeps adding more and more settings and characters to the point where we now have too many stories to shift back and forth between. Especially if you're going to try and hit all of them at once.
