As I’ve been posting my interviews with the cast of Parks and Recreation, conducted on the set of the series in the final weeks of production, you’ll note that the actors were paired – First Jim O’Heir & Retta, then Aziz Ansari & Aubrey Plaza and, tomorrow, I’ll have my interview with Amy Poehler & Adam Scott.
So why is Nick Offerman solo? Because Chris Pratt is so dang busy these days! Offerman and Pratt were actually paired together as well for this press day, but as luck would have it, Pratt had to leave early to attend an awards show with his Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn that night. Pratt had to go when I was literally the very next interview lined up, as he and Offerman went from journalist to journalist, but that’s just how these things shake out sometimes.
