After several weeks away, Star Wars Rebels returned with a new episode that was one of their best yet.
The use of Yoda here -- even if it was "just" his voice -- was terrific. The idea that he would actually be trying to help and influence the galaxy for the better, even while in hiding, is a comforting one – he’s Yoda, after all! Meanwhile, his knowledge of both Kanan’s survival past Order 66 and of Ezra's existence now raises huge questions, of course. In fact, it makes it more difficult to imagine a happy ending for either of those two, given Yoda said “that boy is our last hope” when referring to Luke a few years later. But we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it…
